Champion Green is a campaign to support local communities and businesses. We’re inspiring the people of Ireland to keep prosperity in their communities by supporting local businesses where 65% of employment originates. With dozens of great resources for consumers who want to support local now available, we thought a one-stop list of directories would be really useful for everyone who wants to get to know what businesses are on their doorstep!

NATIONAL

Great article from the Irish Times on 200 Irish Retailers For All Your Online Shopping. This list is broken into recommendations for online Irish retailer websites in the categories of toys, food, art/gifts, books, skincare, and tech.

RTE put out a great list of wonderfully unique products from Irish businesses that will be sure to cover a lot of stocking fillers this Christmas.

 

Just Buy Irish is a directory of 495 independent Irish producers who deliver to your door.

 

Offering a search function on their website where you can search by category and location to find a shop or service that sells what you need locally.

 

Guaranteed Irish have created a site which lists a whole load of Irish businesses by category that you can buy gifts from.

 

 

A great resource for foodies where you can check out profiles for Irish food businesses across a host of categories including niche things like gluten free and low carb.

Choose from a large selection of over 200 Irish brands with Kilkenny Shop, the Irish owned retailer known for supporting Irish design.

 

 

 

Design Ireland brings together some of Ireland’s top makers on one platform where you can see their available products and buy them from the designer’s own websites.

 

Design and Crafts Council Ireland have a handy webpage where you can search their made local directory by location and discipline to find a local maker of whatever you are interested in getting.

 

This platform states that they have over 6000 business listings. Search by category and then by county.
